As part of our latest chef collaboration, we stopped by Contra on the Lower East Side of Manhattan to meet up with chef-owners Fabián von Hauske Valtierra and Jeremiah Stone. As we prepared some of the recipes included in our one-of-a-kind cooking kit, we learned how to take a sirloin and a 12″ Made In Blue Carbon Steel Frying Pan and create an award-winning steak. Hint: it involves some hard-to-find ingredients and a lot of butter.
